How the check works
What is an Agent Readiness Check?
It is a task-based evaluation of whether an AI agent can understand and complete an agreed customer action on a public website. It is not a score for the entire website and is not the same as a conventional SEO or accessibility audit.
Why is every task run three times?
Repeated runs help separate consistent behavior from a one-off outcome. Run counts are reported so you can see whether an observed result was repeatable.
What does the independent review examine?
The review checks the recorded evidence against the task definition and success condition. This separates task execution from judgment and helps avoid overstating a finding.
What is the difference between a hard, soft, and inconclusive finding?
A hard finding is repeatable and clearly supported by the evidence. A soft finding is directional but not fully repeatable. An inconclusive result means the available runs do not support a reliable pass or fail conclusion.
Does the result represent every AI assistant?
No. Agent behavior varies by model, browser environment, time, and website state. A ViaLayer result describes the tested task, system, and period stated in the report.
Can a result be wrong or change later?
Yes. Websites and AI systems change, and network conditions can affect a run. ViaLayer reduces uncertainty through repetition, evidence review, explicit limitations, and re-testing, but does not claim universal or permanent results.

What responsible testing means
Do you need access to the website for a Readiness Check?
No administrative access is needed for an initial check of a public website. If later implementation requires access, it is separately scoped, limited, and revocable.
Can testing create a real appointment, quote, or customer record?
ViaLayer defines the stopping point before testing begins. Public checks avoid irreversible submissions where possible. If a meaningful test requires a controlled submission, that action and its identifier must be agreed in advance with an authorized website owner.
How are test submissions identified and controlled?
When an authorized submission is in scope, the test uses agreed contact details and a clear test identifier. The report records the action taken and the stopping point.
Will testing affect analytics or customers?
Public page visits may appear in normal traffic records. ViaLayer keeps test activity narrow and avoids actions intended to interfere with customers, staff, availability, or business systems.
What happens if a task reaches payment or a legally binding step?
The task stops. ViaLayer does not complete payment, accept contracts, place binding orders, or take other financial, legal, destructive, or irreversible actions without explicit written authorization and an agreed procedure.

What do I receive?
A defined task scope, run-by-run outcome summary, evidence references, finding classification, relevant limitations, and prioritized recommendations. A paid scope may include a more detailed report and re-test criteria.
How long does the free check take?
The current target is a concise result within 48 hours after the task is confirmed. More complex scopes are scheduled in the written proposal.
Can our current developer implement the fixes?
Yes. ViaLayer can prepare a developer-ready specification with acceptance criteria and then re-test the relevant task.
Do you work with our agency or internal web team?
Yes, when responsibilities, access, and review points are defined. The objective is a verifiable correction, regardless of which approved team implements it.
How is a fix verified?
The original task is run again against the agreed success condition. The re-test records whether the behavior changed and whether any relevant limitation remains.
What does Monitoring include?
Monitoring repeats selected tasks against an agreed baseline and frequency. A meaningful outcome change is reviewed before it is reported.

Is this the same as SEO?
No. SEO focuses on discovery and ranking. Agent Readiness focuses on whether an AI agent can understand and complete a practical customer task once it reaches the website. The disciplines can overlap, but their success conditions are different.
What does the free check include?
One agreed public task, three runs when the task supports repetition, and a concise evidence summary. It does not include code changes, a full-site audit, a guarantee of paid work, or testing across every AI system.
How is paid work priced?
Paid work is scoped around task count, pathway complexity, evidence requirements, implementation responsibility, and re-testing. You receive a written scope before paid work begins.
What happens after I submit my website?
ViaLayer reviews the public site and your proposed task, confirms whether it fits the method, and then confirms the precise stopping point and expected delivery.
